Hello, world!

Hello, world!

I created a Website, because… Why Not.

NetworkChuck

After watching a year-old video by NetworkChuck, I decided that it was time to commit to a personal website. Commit is the main goal here as I attempted blogging on Blogger.com over the years, but didn’t really know what I wanted or had life and school take the reins. I’m not sure what this will require, exactly what content will dominate, or what the final outcome will be, but the pursuit of something new may inspire me. In any case, this will be a great learning activity that I may be able to pass on to my son, who is currently 12 years old and has thoughts of being a Youtuber.

I first started a free website on GoDaddy.com but wanted more control over the look and feel of this website. After a little more digging I decided to get my domain name through Bluehost. Now the difficulty of what to name my site. While working on a new post that I was going to add to the GoDaddy account, I thought of a name, but it was taken. Haha isn’t that the way of it? Well, my second name worked out, so here we go, HUZZAH!! Talk about being completely derailed from the original idea, as I type this out.

To end my first post, which feels short to me, but I don’t want to word-vomit everything that is on my mind, I will quote Ralph Waldo Emerson, who said, “It’s not the destination, It’s the journey.” This is my journey; I hope you enjoy the show.
